The GreenXchange (GX) is a web-based marketplace designed to collaborate and share intellectual property (IP) which can lead to new sustainability business models and innovation. Companies participating in the GX will be able to make both patented innovations and unpatented “know-how” available for research uses and commercialization on standard and transparent terms and conditions while retaining the ability to choose the licensing approach they feel comfortable with from attribution recognition to non-competitive use to simple fee structure.

The founding partners of the GX call on other companies to share their commitment to the power of open innovation and collaborative networks to fuel sustainable innovation by making available their patented technologies for research and licensing.
