This May we are taking Green Drinks across the river for a party at Green Drop Garage.
Think music (provided by DJ Hot Biology), drinks (provided by Sierra Nevada, Hip Chicks Do Wine, and Guayaki) and fun (provided by you) sprinkled with a dose of entertaining education.
Our theme is Art and Sustainability. We will have a smattering of pieces on display by local art and fashion folks for your enjoyment! Lindsey Newkirk will speak for a few minutes about Sustainable Art. Lindsey is the founder of the Junk to Funk Recycled Fashion Contest.
Please note: There will be NO round of introductions at this month’s event. Just a round (or two) of drinks!
This event will be free, so bring your friends along and show them what kind of fun the Green Drinks crowd can have.
May Green Drinks will be a 21 and over event.

Doubleplusgood on The Penny Jam

The Penny Jam cranks out another kickin’ local vid.
Electronic-Pop duo DoublePlusGood performs “Something Else” in episode 29 of the Penny Jam. Our host was Joe Mansfield of engraveyourtech.com in top floor of the Towne Storage Building, overlooking the Burnside Bridge, the river, and downtown Portland.

I think its an odd name too. However, while surfing youtube I found sonnyboo.com. This site offers free downloads of music and most interesting is their standard forms they offer for free. They have your standard Non Disclosures forms, appearance release, location release, all the things a filmmaker should be having people sign.
